Republican, Alaskan State Senator Lyda Green on Sarah Palin

From Anchorage Daily News:

State Senate President Lyda Green said she thought it was a joke when someone called her at 6 a.m. to give her the news.

“She’s not prepared to be governor. How can she be prepared to be vice president or president?” said Green, a Republican from Palin’s hometown of Wasilla. “Look at what she’s done to this state. What would she do to the nation?”

Cheers?

Tom

    Dear Senator,
I am shocked by your recent comments about our governor. I feel our governor has done a wonderful job, and didn’t take long to do it either. The fact is that Sarah has done more in less time than most of the legislators in this state.
Un-fortunately you have shown a sour side to yourself. Shame on you. We have an opportunity to add a vise president who has it all, and will do what is rite for the United States. I am a conservative republican, apparently you are not. I and every one else who heard or read your comments will remember them as we go to the voting poll next time. Something for you to think about.
    Disappointed in your comments,
    George Victory

  2. George-

Yes, please remember these words. Tattoo them on yourself as a reminder and when the polls open next time (and I am still not on the ballot) what are you going to do? You’re silly.

It is “Vice” President, not “vise” and there is no dash in unfortunately.

Shame on you! For threatening me. But again, since there is no defense for the Palin pick all you can do is go on offense.

    Cheers,

    Tom

It does seem that Lyda has sour grapes in her mouth. Is it impossible for her to criticize Sarah’s politics without all the petty jealousy? I agree with the majority consensus, Lyda needs an attitude adjustment. If she isn’t able to afford one, maybe she should find another job so we don’t have to listen to her whine and moan anymore.

  4. Is that supposed to be funny? (since she is a cancer survivor that decided not to seek re-election.)

Or to put it another way, if some one of the same gender called me a “cancer” after having fought a courageous battle against cancer I would have had strong words with them or possibly kicked their smart ass mouths.

As for Palin laughing about it- as a governor I expect more decorum then to treat a cancer victim that way. Maybe you do not. Perhaps in Charlie-world mocking people who have had or have cancer is accepted? I’m sure you wouldn’t bitch and whine at all if some heartless ass did the same to cancer survivor John McCain? No, not at all…

    Cheers,

    Tom

Hey smarty pants Tom, it is someone and not some one! I only point it out since you seem to want to be so correct.
