When asked by Katie Couric to name another Supreme Court case other than Roe v Wade that she disagrees with Sarah Palin launched an answer that was very reminiscent of the one given here:

In case you missed that, here is the transcript of “the answer”:
COURIC: What other supreme court decisions do you disagree with?
PALIN: Hmm. Well, lets see, there’s, of course, in the great history of America there have been rulings that there’s never going to be absolute consensus by every American. And there are those issues again, like Roe v. Wade where I believe are best held on a state level and addressed there. Going through the history of America, there would be others.
COURIC: Can you think of any?
PALIN: Well, I would think of, of, any again that could best be dealt with on a more local level. Maybe I would take issue with. But you know, as a mayor and as a governor and even as a vice president . . . I wouldn’t be in a position of changing those things but in supporting the law of the land as it lays today.

On the upside, right wing nutballs have stopped defending her selection on my blog. I guess even they know that McCain picking her was a failed attempt at doing something spectacular in his favor- instead it looks like Palin’s continued inability to answer elementary questions combined with McCain’s “the economy is strong”, non-suspension of his campaign and taking credit for the passage of the economic bailout in the house of representatives that then failed have all led to a huge collapse in support for McCain. Right wingers are not excited. Their somber attitude and anger is palpable. Meanwhile, I may lose my grumpy-old-man-at-35 card if McCain’s downward spiral continues.
